Head of Research

The Head of Research will lead the organization's research agenda in macroeconomics, trade policy, public finance, and industrial economics. The role involves managing a team of economists and analysts, producing high-quality research, and supporting evidence-based policy engagement.

Required Qualifications:

PhD in Economics from an HEC-recognized or accredited university. - Minimum 10 years of experience in economic research, policy analysis, or applied econometrics.
At least 5 publications in HEC-recognized or internationally indexed journals.
Proven experience leading research teams or policy units.
Proficiency in at least one statistical/econometric software package such as Stata, R, Python, and EViews.
Strong presentation and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to communicate complex findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
