The Fiscal Policy & Taxation Research Team at PRAC is committed to meticulously dissecting the complexities of Pakistan’s fiscal framework. Our focus encompasses critical areas such as budgetary strategies, tax reforms, revenue enhancement, optimizing expenditures, investment prioritization, public debt management, decentralization, and ensuring fiscal sustainability. We play a crucial role in crafting annual federal budget proposals, underpinned by comprehensive economic analysis. Additionally, our team undertakes thorough reviews and evaluations of budgetary measures, assessing their effects across different sectors and industries. We actively collaborate with policymakers, academic entities, and both national and international organizations to ensure that our insights are both relevant and transformative.
